Double century in ODI has always been every batsman dream. But if anyone deserves to get the first double hundred in ODI it should be Sachin Tendulkar.

The way which he manage his innings was a lesson to every batsman. The hundred came in just 90 balls and then he pick up the pace and took just 57 balls to get to the landmark of 200 runs. The innings was studded with 25 four’s and 3 spell bounding Sixes. In process he broke the highest record in ODI by Pakistan’s Saeed Anwar.

The double century took some time to come when Captain MS Dhoni kept most of the strikes with himself and started to budging the South African bowling to all parts of ground.

Finally in the last over of the innings he got the needed one run and finally got to the unthinkable.

This was the innings will remain in the mind of every cricket fan for long time till someone other batsman get close to incredible 200. As an Indian and a cricket fan we want it to be our Sachin again.
