  • Rajasthan May Have a Grip over Kings XI Punjab

    0

The fourth match in this IPL5 season will be played between two under rated teams Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, which is led by captain-cum –Coach Adam Gilchrist, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

This year, Royals team will be backed by recently retired from International cricket Rahul Dravid, as Shane Warne called quit in the last season. Dravid will be having a tough time in this season as the team has some unproven players and also will be missing Shane Watson due to his international commitments.

Rajasthan Royals have to be depended on players like Dravid, Ajinkya Rahane, Ashok Menaria and Faiz Fazal, including overseas players like Brad Hodge, Paul Collinwood and Owais Shah.

On the balling department, Royals will be heavily depended on Sreesanth and Shaun Tait, who will be backed by Siddharth Trivedi and seamer Amit Singh.

Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand haven’t auctioned for any high class players, thus making them weak against Royals. Team has to be depended on destructive players like Paul Valthaty, Shaun Marsh, David Hussey, David Miller and Abhishek Nayar.

Also there is a former Pakistani all rounder Azhar Mahmood in Kings XI squad, whom to fit in means dropping one international player.  Moreover, Punjab will be without pacer Ryan Harris, who is into his international commitment, which means Indian pacer Praveen Kumar will have a good chance in the bowling department.

Kings XI Punjab haven’t had any good IPL season till date, whereas IPL inaugural winner Rajasthan Royals had a on and off seasons, which means it still has the potential to have a grip on Kings XI Punjab.
